Age limit: Eligible candidate age should not be more than 37 (thirty-seven) years as on1.01.2014.
Education Qualification: Eligible candidate should have degree of The minimum requirements of a good academic record, 55% marks or an equivalent grade (Grade “B”B=Good: Grade Point 3.50 - 4.49; percentage equivalent : 55-64) in 7 point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s level and qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET), or an accredited test (State Level Eligibility Test - SLET / SET), shall remain for the appointment of Assistant Professor.
Application Fee: Eligible candidate need to pay application f Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred and ten) only by Indian Postal Order which MUST BE PURCHASED ON A DATE AFTER PUBLICATION OF THIS ADVERTISEMENT AND ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSSING DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata – 700 026 so as to reach him on or before the closing date.
